blazer basketball

today we went to go watch the uab blazers play savannah state. we thought the game started at 3:00pm, but it was 3pm eastern instead of central so we were an hour late. it was pretty funny because when we entered the green and gold room to eat our usually meal before the game, we were disappointed that all they were serving were drinks, chips, and popcorn. well after the mabster ate some popcorn, we headed into the game to our seats. we sat down and got settled while the game started. i wasn't paying much attention until i looked up at the scoreboard. the score read 37-24. i was seriously confused. i thought that there's no way that was right when the game just started. then i looked again, and it said it was the second half. i turned to jay, laughed, and said, "you know why they weren't serving dinner?"..."it was halftime!" he laughed back and said "oops." we felt like idiots, but laughed it off. thank god the game wasn't too exciting and that we didn't miss out on much.

the blazers had an awesome lead throughout the entire game, and ended up waxing them which was no surprise because i've never even heard of the school "savannah state." overall, it was good just to get out of the house for a little bit now that both girls are feeling much better. lastly, i found this old pic of the mabster when she was the grunt's age and going to her first games. here is a comparison of the two of them. they are both wearing the exact same cheerleading outfit. the mabster is on the left, and the grunt on the right. they look similar, but different...don'tcha think?

RM, if that's the case, i'll do a backflip! but i have noticed that she does have some super light (could possibly be blonde) hair coming up underneath her baby hair...

oh, i can't wait to see what she will look like as a toddler!
