hotlanta: day 2

saturday morning, we wake up rehashing the events from last night followed by lots of cackling and shaking heads. we wake up, wash the dirty smell of bar out of our hair, and get ready for a late brunch at Atkins Park Grill followed by boutique shopping in Virginia Highland. lunch was great and the boutique shops had a lot of cute stuff. shortly after, we all walked into a coffee shop for a quick little pick me up. the shopping continued and was ceased once we arrived at Moe and Joe's Tavern where as seis says, "the Pabst Blue Ribbon flows from the tap like nectar to the gods." we sat outside on the patio enjoying the sunshine, cool breeze, and yup, more beer. here are some pics...we shop a bit more at a different location, and i find the cutest summer top i have ever seen, as well as some super cute fabric for the girls' easter dresses. at this point, a few of us are tired and pleading for a nap before another crazy night out began. wish granted. we headed back to the hotel for a nap while some stayed and continued to shop. later, we all started getting ready for dinner reservations at Loca Luna with tapas, sangria, and live Latin music. salsa, anyone? it was nothing short of stellar. here are some pics...overall, it was an awesome mini-vacay girls' weekend getaway. unfortunately, we are still trying to figure out our team name...there's something about "the sisterhood of traveling panties" that just doesn't click with us. oh no. our name has got to be perfect. until the next one, ladies!! i can smell the beach already...
