CEC tailgate party

friday, lyla had a tailgate party at school in which they made their own t-shirts to wear and painted them all by themselves. when asked who she wanted to cheer for, she responded back with "war eagle." her grandparents would be proud, but i bit of me wanted to encourage her to say "go blazers" instead. although we all know that our sport is tailgating and clearly not football. each classmate wore their own team colors with their last name and a number painted on the back. they enjoyed a tailgate themed snacks where each parent brought in something to share, and then during their outside playground time, they all chanted and cheered for their team. it was super cute and lyla had a blast. here are some pics...

you should have forced her to wear the green and gold. she has plenty of time later to cave in to peer pressure instead of fighting the good (but losing) fight.
